Bow Butler review
by Heritage Hunters Staff

During the summer months there is one activity we try to do as often as time permits, or as they say; “our wives allow”. That is to get together with the guys and sling some arrows. When you get a few of us guys/gals together it always seems like there is just no good place to set your bow down when retrieving the arrows or taking a break – until now! The bow butler is again, one of those products that make you say “why didn’t I think of that?” It’s a simple concept; it’s light, easy to setup, and sturdy enough to hold your bow and a few gadgets and tools, along with plenty of arrows. Basically the bow butler is a small version of a golf bag for your archery shoots.

We have kept our arrows, some spare tips and an allen wrench in the bow butler all summer long, and the extra D-rings on the bag make it perfect to hang a range finder. It’s just made shooting much simpler and frankly, that much more enjoyable.
Here are the specs of the bow butler
• Rigid arrow tube
• Heavy duty nylon cover
• Flip top cover doubles as cup holder
• Fold out bipod legs with bow holder brackets
• 4 zippered gadget pockets
• Extra D-rings
• Adjustable for different arrow lengths
• Shoulder strap and carry handle
Stands 33″ tall.
Our marks on the bow butler
Function – 4 out of 5: Works great, a simple idea but one that we will use over and over again. It does have the tendency to get knocked over once in a while if it’s not set up just right or on uneven ground. Not a big deal.
Quality 5 out of 5 : We have had no issues with the product breaking/tearing during our testing this summer. We see no reason it will not hold up for years to come. The rigid tube even held up when our chubby buddy (name withheld but you know who you are) sat on it while climbing in one of the Heritage Hunters trucks.
Value: 3 out of 5: With a retail value of $49.99 we think it may be priced a tad too high but it is one of those things that you will use enough to quickly justify the price. When we break out a new product at the club and guys take notice it usually means we are onto something. The bow butler was one such product as we heard the words “cool“, “neat“, and the ever sarcastic “Did you bring one for ME !?!” It’s not something a shooter needs in order to get dialed in for the season or to shoot a slammer, but it does help protect your bow, keeps your arrows in a tidy spot and eliminates the need for a quiver on your belt.
