The Heritage Hunters - my 2012 gun season opener

well last weekend was the opener of gun season for me and I had nothing but bad luck opening day. first i got up late my buddys were waiting for me. we start heading to are hunting spot and the trailer blows a tire so we run back and load the wheeler into the back of the pickup and we are off we almost get to are hunting spot and then we hit a skunk. Man do they stink lol and less then a minute later we hit a coyote. Now we finally get there unload the wheelers. the reason why we use wheeler its a 4 mile ride to get back were we hunt but anyway we get about halfway back and the wheeler gets stuck. after we get that unstuck we finally get to were we park the wheeler so i start walking the last mile to my spot. by this time its just light enough to shoot I get back to my spot. just has I get to my spot there is a hunter 75yds from my stand as I started walking back out to find another spot I see three more hunters all around my stand. by this time my morning was shot so I walked around looking for a new spot to hunt for the evening hunter. Now its about 2 o clock and I'm sitting in the new spot i find it had 8 scapes and 13 rubs so i'm sitting and about 4:25 i hear a deer coming from the right of me I had a big tree to the right of me so I get the gun around that tree and as my gun is pointing up in the air I look out and there he was standing about 15yds from me as i brought the gun down I hit a little branch with my gun and there he was gone. i was just so upset he was a decent size buck it would have been the first buck I shot with the muzzleloader. so I hope this coming weekend will be better.
